The World Owerri Peoples Congress (W.O.P.C.) is a congress of people of the three local government councils of Owerri namely, Owerri Municipal, Owerri North, and Owerri West, and future derivatives of these three local government areas, being perceptive of the economic, social, political, and other benefits fostered by a united front, in further recognition of our heritage vis-a-vis the American and Western heritage, in affirmation of the importance of smooth fusion of our various cultures, do hereby proclaim a clarion call to our people in the diaspora to rally together, to organize, and are herebyorganized as the WORLD OWERRI PEOPLE'S CONGRESS, INC.
